An ambitious high schooler, with a passion for theater and a just-watch-me attitude, Marley wrote her first full-length play at 14 years old. If that wasn’t enough she went on to produce and direct a production of the play which premiered, just after her fifteenth birthday, on December 16th, 2017.

As the play centered around themes of domestic abuse and its cyclical nature, all proceeds were donated to HAVEN of Oakland County, a shelter that helps real-life women facing the same strive as the characters in the play. In the end the project brought together creative minds from eight different local schools and raised over a $1,000 in profits for HAVEN of Oakland County.

As Oakland County’s only comprehensive program for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, HAVEN provides shelter, counseling, advocacy, and educational programming to nearly 30,000 people each year.
